Brain Computer Interfaces
Listen and learn about controlling computers with your brain
So picture this: instead of waking up and needing assistance to get out of bed, move around and communicate, a paralyzed person could be able to get up, put on an exoskeleton which is controlled by the same impulses that previously controlled their legs, and then walk down to Starbucks to grab morning coffee. All thanks to brain computer interfaces.

We have for centuries been amazed of the power and complexity of our brain, but never actually made any augmentations to it. Today, technology in the fields of neuroscience, computer science and electrical engineering have grown so advanced that we might be on the verge of doing just that, by implementing electrodes that read brainwaves and feed back information. Not only can it help paralyzed people, but also bring back vision and hearing to individuals with impaired bodies. These are the first steps of getting to know our brain inside and out, so that we in the future will be able to expand our thinking abilities by connecting us to the power of computers.
